NZ 100km National Grid Square

NZ square spans the North East English Region & Yorkshire and the Humber English Region.

The NZ national grid square measures 100 km by 100 km and has an area of 10,000 kilometres squared.

The technical term for a 100 km map square is a Myriad.

When this 100km square is divided into a grid 10 by 10 it gives the next size of grid square. This unit is called a Hectad and measures 10km square. 100 hectads fit in a 100km square.
