TM 100km National Grid Square

TM square spans the Eastern English Region.

The TM national grid square measures 100 km by 100 km and has an area of 10,000 kilometres squared.

The technical term for a 100 km map square is a Myriad.

When this 100km square is divided into a grid 10 by 10 it gives the next size of grid square. This unit is called a Hectad and measures 10km square. 100 hectads fit in a 100km square.
